SEC CAHMPIONSHIP weekend

Ok so last night was a hard night for me. I was watching the SEC Championship game and well the TIDE looked good all 4 quarters but we mad some costly mistakes. I am proud of how well the TIDE did this season in Saban's second year. Everyone needs to look out cause we are BACK!!! If we can keep Saban around a little while he will be the next legendary coach. We are headed to the National Championship but thats ok we are headed to the Sugar Bowl. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!!

Thanksgiving Weekend

Hey everyone I hopw you had a wonderful Thanksgiving. I know that I did. I spent Thanksgiving day with my boyfriend and his family. I had a good time. Then on Saturday my dad,brother and I headed to Tuscaloosa for the IRON BOWL game. It was AWESOME!!!. ALABAMA ended Auburns 6 yr winning streak and remained number 1. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

hey guys sorry its be a while. well football season is almost over. BAMA is 11-0 plays Auburn this weekend and then plays Florida Gators in the SEC Championship game. Life has been great. I work with some great people and have made some good friends. I have gotten to spend some time with people that mean a lot to me recently. I have a good friend that just got engaged. I am very excited for her. I have been dating Ben for about six months and its been great. He has treated me very well. Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

Who would of thought that in Saban's 2nd year as head coach the Tide would be 8-0. To be honest I didn't. I was just hoping for a better season and getting to a better bowl game than last year. Well folks its happening. With the Tides victory over the Ugly VOLS and Georgia killing LSU it just got a little easier for the Tide. We are the ONLY undefeated team in the SEC and we are ranked #1 in SEC WEST and #2 in the nation. Were we underrated at the beginning of the season? YES we were! we moved up 22 spots in 5 weeks. what other team has done that? Thats right. NONE!! The TIDE is BACK!!!!!

Huge Win

Well folks this weekend was a huge test to my CRIMSON TIDE. They played the Georgia Bulldogs and up to this point they are the BEST team they have played. They pulled off a WIN. They jumped ahead of them 31-0 before half time and won 41-30. We are 5-0/2-0. The TIDE is back!!! Lookout everyone we are coming for you! Roll Tide Roll!!

BIG GAMEDAY

Today my ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE 4-0/1-0 and ranked #8 is taking on the Georgia Bulldogs. This is going to be a test to see how good the CRIMSON TIDE is. Yes we killed Clemson but they were overrated and there was way to much hype about them before the season started and they got burned in week 1. Go BAMA beat Georgia today in Athens. ROLL TIDE ROLL!!!

ok so it has been along time since i've updated so here you go. My life has been great. i have some of the greatest friends. I have a WONDERFUL boyfriend who treats me like a princess and showers me with gifts just cause. I have some Great people in my life that are like family to me and the blessings continue. I have been busy with work , going to Lawrenceburg TN, Decatur,AL house sitting in Portland and going to Bama football games. I am having the time of my life and my heavenly father continues to shine his love on me and hopefully people can see his love through me and the way I love on them. There has been times in my life where i have wanted something so bad it was hard for me to be patient. This weekend a friend and i traveled to Atlanta to see Kenny Chesney's Poets and Pirates concert. As usual he did an amazing job. Anyone that hasn't seen kenny in concert but likes country music i reccommend seeing kenny. He puts on a GREAT show and is FULL of energy.

BLESSINGS!!!

Hey everyone I know its been a while. Things have been crazy. I have been working, working working. Just to fill you in my life right now is good. I have been blessed in so many ways and the blessings just keep coming. I got to spend some time with my brother in the military over the last 2 weeks and having him home after a 3 month deployment in Honduras was great. I have some of the GREATEST!!! friends and there is a family that has to been such a HUGE blessing to me. That family would be the Oatsvalls. They are WONDERFUL! people. The better I get to know them and the more I get to be around them the more my LOVE for them grows. Coach O and his wife are amazing Christian people and they have 4 AMAZING kids. Jeremiah is the oldest and seeing how he acts with his brother and sisters is amazing. He is a GREAT! older brother. Then there is little red head Elijah who seems to be FULL of energy everytime i'm around and he is as SWEET as he can be. Then you have PRECIOUS Emily who always wants a ride on my shoulders when I come over. What do I do give her the ride over and over and over cause I come to love on those kids and give them attention. Then there is BEAUTIFUL Maggie. She doesn't always want anything to do with me or at least not right away. She sees me LOVING on the other 3 and will eventually come up to me and want to ride on my back or want me to hold her and of course i do it. Oatsvalls you have been a MAJOR BLESSING and i LOVE you more than words can say. You guys are like family to me and having the kind of relationship I have with you BLESSES me EVERY DAY!!! I thank God that you guys are in my life. I LOVE you!!!

Heart of sadness

Ok so most of you have heard about the Chapman family (Steven Curtis). I can't imaging what they are going through right now. I have had them on my heart ever since I heard about sweet Maria. This family is a great family not only does Steven Curtis impact people with his awesome music but the rest of his family has a great impact on people cause they are a great Christian family. They are also impacting other families with the adopting girls from China. After I heard the news I found myself being even more protective of my favorite kids (Oatsvall Kids). This family has two girls from China. I was at Jeremiah's baseball game when I heard. Toward the end of the game Emily (named after Emily Chapman) needed to go potty and wanted me to take her. Even though she can walk I picked her up cause I didn't want her walking through the parking lot. Jeremiah, Elijah, Emily and Maggie I love you more than words can express and I will always look out for you. Please keep praying for the Chapman family.

Movin OUT!!

Hey I'm movin out this weekend. I am SUPER EXCITED. I can have friends over and we can have a party. I am going to be rooming with a friend from church. I'll fill you in later on how its going.

These shoes are so true!! The other night I was wearing and ALABAMA t-shirt and a RUDE Tennessee fan said "ALABAMA you can't wear that d*** shirt in the state of Tennessee". I looked at him and said yes I can cause I am and I wear BAMA shirts all the time. I wouldn't be caught dead in an UGLY orange shirt. Then I said 41- 17. ROLL TIDE ROLL.

Thyroid Doctor

Tomorrow morning I am going to the thyroid doctor. When I went back in August cause it was causing lots of neck pain cause of how sollen it is. I found out that I have an underactive thyroid. When your thyroid is under or overactive you have to take medicine for it ofr the rest of your life. A thyroid scan has to be done so that they can determine how strong the medicine needs to be. When my mom talked to the doctor they said that this should have been done back in October cause it can cause other health problems such as your heart racing(beating real fast) when there isn't a reason for it to. It is also a BIG reason why losing weight has been hard for me to do(and it sucks when working out isn't doing a whole lot of good). Well, I'll let you know how it goes.

A day Game

Today was BAMA'S a-day game. It was great to see TIDE football after being without it for so long. The crimson team led by Senior Quarterback JOHN PARKER WILSON won 24-14. John Parker looked pretty good. Several other boys looked good too. BAMA is coming BACK!!! The Tide will be back to the glory days of winning SEC titles and National Championships. Maybe not in 08 but in 09 I say we will at least get to SEC Championship game. As for 08 I predict OUTBACK BOWL or COTTON BOWL. Well have to wait and see how my predictions are. I am SUPER excited about BAMA football. ROLL TIDE ROLL.

NEVER GET A JETTA!!!

yesterday when I got to work I started to smell a burning smell. I had my car parked so I turned it off. When I turned it off smoke started coming out of the hood. I was wondering what might be wrong. When I got a short lunch break I went out there to check it out and I was wanting to go get a drink. I started the car and the battery light came on. When I put the car into drive I tried to turn my stirring wheel and it WOULDN'T budge. I knew right away that something with my power stirring was wrong cause i had that problem when i had the jeep. Today the tow man came when I told him what was wrong he looked under the hood. I had a broken belt. Man I'm lucky this car hasn't left me stranded somewhere with the way it breaks down. Anyways me, my dad and MY bank account have had enough so we are selling it SOON!!! Thank goodness.

I'm MOVIN' OUT!!!

Hey everyone I'm movin out of my parents house soon. I'm SUPER EXCITED!! I'll get the freedom of a 25 year old thats not under mom and dads rule. I will be getting a dog at some point(a black pug). I have been wanting a pug for a long time and my mom can't have dogs in the house so she said when I move out I can get one. I was going to get one pretty quickly after i move out but i'm planning on going to Germany again in the fall for 2 and a half weeks this time and I don't want to leave him with someone or for my roommate to take care of so i'll wait till Sept to get him.

I made it!!!

Hey everyone don't worry about me. I made it to Germany. Everything here is great. I have enjoyed spending time with one of my BEST friends from college and her precious baby boy Jaxon Lee. Just let me tell you this 5 month old baby is a trooper. Today after church we went to Frankenstien Germany to see a castle. It was cool. Then we kept driving and came upon an enormous castle so of course we stoped and went in. To get to both of these castles we had to do some hiking. Oh we were so tired after both those castles. I will put some pictures up when I get back home and I'll tell you more about it too. Have a great day.

New Version of Footprints

FOOTPRINTS
Imagine you and the Lord Jesus are walking down the road together. For much of the way, the Lord's footprints go along steadily, consistently, rarely varying the pace.
But your footprints are a disorganized stream of zigzags, starts, stops, turnarounds, circles, departures, and returns.
For much of the way, it seems to go like this, but gradually your footprints come more in line with the Lord's, soon paralleling, His consistently.
You and Jesus are walking as true friends!
This seems perfect, but then an interesting thing happens: Your footprints that once etched the sand next to Jesus' are now walking precisely in His steps.
Inside His larger footprints are your smaller ones, you and Jesus are becoming one.
This goes on for many miles, but gradually you notice another change. The footprints inside the large footprints seem to grow larger.
Eventually they disappear altogether. There is only one set of footprints. They have become one.
This goes on for a long time, but suddenly the second set of footprints is back. This time it seems even worse! Zigzags all over the place. Stops. Starts. Gashes in the sand. A variable mess of prints.
You are amazed and shocked.
Your dream ends. Now you pray:
'Lord, I understand the first scene, with zigzags and fits. I was a new Christian; I was just learning. But You walked on through the storm and helped me learn to walk with You.'
'That is correct.'
'And when the smaller footprints were inside of Yours, I was actually learning to walk in Your steps, following You very closely.'
'Very good.. You have understood everything so far.'
When the smaller footprints grew and filled in Yours, I suppose that I was becoming like You in every way.'
'Precisely..'
'So, Lord, was there a regression or something? The footprints separated, and this time it was worse than at first.'
There is a pause as the Lord answers, with a smile in His voice.

Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding the Lord, people think twice about sharing. Funny isn't it? Are you laughing? Are you thinking? Spread the Word and give thanks to the Lord for He is good!

Why?

The righteous cry out, the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. A righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all. Psalm 34:17-19
The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The Lord helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him. Psalm 37:39,40
These verses have helped me through some tough times. Right now there is something bothering me to the point of tears when I think about it (which is a good bit). Someone that has been a MAJOR blessing to my life isn't getting treated very well. It bothers me because I care about this person and his family and I HATE how he is getting treated when I know that him and his family are a blessing to everyone they know. I don't agree with or understand why these people are doing to this person and I don't like how they are going about it. I HAVE NO RESPECT FOR THESE PEOPLE because they are treating someone I look up to and have A LOT of RESPECT for so bad. LEAVE HIM AND HIS FAMILY ALONE!! They Are WONDERFUL people. You know who you are. I love ya'll and ya'll have been a MAJOR!!! blessing.

Less than 2 weeks

Its less than 2 weeks til i make my 2 week journey to Germany. I am sooooo ready to go. I have been excited about going for a long time now. The fact that its so close is overwhelming but in a good way. Germany here I come!!!!!

The Count Down has begun

It is Feb. and the count down til Germany has begun. Only 3 weeks til I get to go to Germany and see some foreign land for 2 weeks. I am SUPER excited. I guess you could tell though cause its only my 5th or 6th blog about Germany. I'll be traveling by myself b ut once i get to Germany I'll be with a good college buddy and her husband and their baby. I'll get to see Germany, London, Paris and maybe switzerland. Oh yeah and tonight is the SUPER BOWL!!! GO GIANTS GO!!!

Still Working

Ok so today at church I branched out. Since I'm not in college any more I went to the Singles class. It was wierd. It was good for me to go to that class cause the people in the college class are so much younger than me. I had a hard time being in the singles class but its just going to take God breaking down barriers. When I first started college I had trouble going to the college class cause I still wanted to be in the youth group. Now that i'm out of college its time for me to let God brake the barriers and go to the Singles class meet new people and make new friends. My heavenly father is AMAZING!!!! and he is constantly showing me that in so many ways. He has wonderful things in store for me I just need to get out of the way and let him do his work through me. My Life

2 Words: IT'S AMAZING!!!!! God has been doing some amazing things in my life. I hope it is evident to all those around me. One example is the way I let certain things just roll off me. I use 2 be caught up in what others thought of me but really IT JUST DOESN'T MATTER!!! I'm don't need to be a people pleaser. All I need to do is serve my GOD and do what is pleasing to him. I could go on all night about our awesome GOD but my mom has asked me to get some things done cause my brother is coming home this weekend so i better go do it.

Germany isn't far away

Hey everyone!! The month of January is going quickly. We are already in the middle of the month. At the end of this month it will be 1 month in counting till I make my journey across seas to Germany. I am so excited. I'll be traveling by myself but once I get there I'll be with a college friend, her husband and their new baby boy. Oh I can't wait. Can you say PICTURES,PICTURES,PICTURES cause i am a PICTURE taker and I'll have so many 2 show everyone when I get back. I probably won't be able to keep u updated over there but when I get back I'll post blogs about it and put some pictures up.Oh and another while I'm in Germany the Jetta is getting sold. I'll drive my brothers car 4 a little bit until i finish saving my money 2 pay half of the car we are going to get me. I will be getting a Honda CR-V. Can u say super exciting. Yes it is. Well thats all 4 now.

oh what a crazy weekend

Wow I've been working all week and not getting a whole of sleep. Friday comes and what do i want to do? I want to have fun instead of taking the oppurtnity to get some good rest. I went over to a friends house we had girls night and oh it was sooo much fun. we watched movies and took some pictures of course cause thats what we like to do. What am I doing tonight? I'm babysitting and who knows how long i'll be there. i'm going to be oh so tired on monday for work. oh well its worth it.

Well LSU has another national title. I was glad that they won. After they beat BAMA and Iknew BAMA wasn't going I wanted them to win it. Wayt to go LSU!!!!

Michigan with an upset

Ok for those of you who don't watch football or don't care Michigan pulled an upset today in the Capital One Bowl. They beat last years National Championship team the Florida Gators. It was AWESOME!!!! Michigan had 4 turnovers but they kept playing good defense and kept coming after Tebow and it paid off. Way to go Wolverines.
